We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team.
As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities.
This is a key role in our organization, as you will play a crucial part in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs - Perform electrical repairs and installations as required.
- Complete scheduled maintenance on misc.
equipment - Fabricate parts or components as needed to complete repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a community setting.
- Solid mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Electrical knowledge and the ability to perform basic electrical repairs and installations safely.
