Responsibilities include but are not limited to, directing the daily operations of Flex Storage centers, managing a team of drivers and Flex mates, delivering on Flex Storage customer guarantee, and executing daily route planning and drivers assignments.
Execute and maintain all regulatory and preventative maintenance regulations for Flex Storage Centers, vehicles, and other applicable equipment.
Provide a safe productive environment for staff and supporting business partners.
Areas of Responsibility Operational Excellence:
Ensure work space and vehicles are functional and staff have what they need to execute their jobs to Flex Storage standards Own all general/maintenance for a fleet of vehicles, trailers, and any other corporate owned assets within your respective territory Adhere to company guidelines for asset management (trailer inventory/equipment), flex center trailer layout, supply organization/management Maintain clean organized workspace within Flex Centers, vehicles, and trailers.
This is to include a safe productive work environment Generate daily schedule for drivers and flex mates that includes effective route planning, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads based upon demands of the business Effective relationship management with internal/external business partners (landlords, service shops, local offices, etc) Ensure accurate completion of daily driver and flex mate checklist, inspection logs, record keeping Lead and develop a team of drivers and flex mates within your metropolitan area by monitoring performance, providing feedback, coaching, modeling flex storage standards and procedures, identifying training and development needs, participating in the hiring, training, performance management, and evaluation for your entire workforce Perform driver responsibilities and duties when the business dictates and any other task assigned by your direct supervisor Customer Centric:
Lead and coach behaviors that provides our customers with a 5 star Flex storage experience Ensuring drivers arrive on time to all scheduled service calls and communicate estimated time of arrival prior to customers service window and when en route to customers location Upon arrival to customers site give brief presentation of their flex storage unit, provide 5 star customer service, secure the customer survey Events and special projects:
Own and help on other events and projects as needed.
