We are searching for a Microbiology Lab Technician or Microbiologist to assist with the daily functions of the lab.
Ideal candidates will meet the requirements identified below, and will be local to Naples, Florida.
Roles & Responsibilities Assist in preparing media, reagents, and materials as needed for laboratory testing Perform daily lab maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor Receive samples into laboratory and document appropriate information Document analysis results and prepare client reports Maintain laboratory supply inventory and communicate purchasing needs Maintain paper and electronic records of various tasks Assist microbiologist(s) as needed Education Requirements Bachelor's degree & 0 years lab experience Associate's degree & 0-3 years of lab experience High school diploma/ GED equivalent & 3
years lab experience Qualifications & Experience Knowledge and ability to perform basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication, percentages, weights, unit conversion) Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals Ability to read and use measurement devices Basic computer knowledge Ability to perform basic functions in Microsoft Excel Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay commensurate with experience Paid vacation time Casual work environment 401k matching after probationary period Health Insurance offered' 'Work Remotely No Job Type:
